  • Privacy of E-mail lists: Advocates for Youth maintains e-mail lists to keep individuals and organizations informed about the work of this organization. Individuals must affirmatively request to join Advocates lists. We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease the addresses on our list to anyone. In addition, we configure our lists to refuse to divulge the e-mail addresses of our list subscribers to anyone but authorized staff and volunteers, including in some cases other list subscribers.

  • Privacy of Mailing Lists: Advocates for Youth maintains mailing lists to keep individuals and organizations informed about the work of our organization. Individuals may be included in these lists by submitting information through our web page. This information may be shared with like-minded organizations.

Message Boards
Advocates for Youth maintains message boards to provide a place for people to share information and ideas. We cannot, however, vouch for the character or safety of everyone who uses these boards. Please remember that people on the Internet may not always be who or what they say they are. Also, remember that, if you post your e-mail address, others can send you mail and find out other information about you even after you sign off. Finally, although Advocates will not sell your name and internet address to others without your permission, other people may be able to collect this information if you post it on a public board.

Chat Rooms
Advocates for Youth maintains chat rooms to provide a place for people to share information and ideas. We cannot, however, vouch for the safety or character of everyone who uses a chat room. Please remember that people on the Internet may not always be who or what they say they are. Also, remember that if you post your e-mail address, others can send you mail and find out other information about you even after you sign off. Finally, although Advocates will not sell you name and Internet address to others without your permission, other people may be able collect it if you sign on to participate in a chat discussion.
