Emergency Contraception

Emergency contraception is a method of preventing pregnancy after sexual intercourse.

If you are sexually active, it's always important to use protection, something to help you prevent a pregnancy you don't want and sexually transmitted infections that you also don't want. However, sometimes a condom breaks. Sometimes people make mistakes and have unprotected sex. Sometimes a teen is forced to have sex. In these instances you need to know about emergency contraception (EC), a method of preventing pregnancy after unprotected sex or when regular contraception fails or may have failed!
